Dr. Le Gist grew up in Dallas, TX and earned her Bachelors degree at The University of Texas in Austin. She attended The University of Houston's College of Optometry (UHCO) where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Le Gist became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2010 and was an assistant clinical professor at UHCO between February 2013-April 2014.

After graduating he went on to obtain a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston and began practicing in the north Houston area.
He has worked in a variety of private practice settings and, at each of them, Dr. Koch has introduced new opportunities for visually impaired patients in the form of specialty contact lenses. Certain conditions of the cornea (the front of the eye) such as scars or degenerations may limit a person’s vision in a way that glasses can no longer help them. Dr. Koch enjoys using his clinical skills to restore that lost vision and get his patients back to their jobs, hobbies and daily lives.
